Just created HF account to learn NLP ,however the Billing information shows validity upto 31 st march 2025. Want to know is the course and account is free ? and how long one can access freely.

Unless you register your credit card information, there is no way for Hugging Face to request money from you. Also, please do not try using debit or prepaid cards. It will only take two weeks to get your money back, and there is no benefit to doing so. It’s free.
Even within the free range, you can play around with things like Spaces, Hugging Chat and courses, so it’s a good idea to try out a variety of things.
However, especially with the agents course, you’ll be using the Inference API a lot, so you’ll quickly run out of the Inference usage quota. A lot of people are having trouble with this, so I hope that some kind of remedy will be considered in the future…
For someone just starting out, the free account is more than enough to explore, practice, and learn without feeling pressured to pay. The paid features are optional upgrades, so you can focus on learning first and only consider them later if you need extra compute or private models. Overall, it’s a very accessible way to dive into NLP.

No credit card is needed, Hugging Face is truly free to explore, and Spaces, Hugging Chat, and courses make it easy to start immediately.
