CMLM is an open research initiative dedicated to developing Chinese Medicine Language Models for the next generation of trustworthy healthcare intelligence.
Led by IMPF-AI Institute · 医哲未来人工智能研究院, CMLM aims to connect classical medical knowledge, modern clinical evidence, multimodal biomedical data, and responsible artificial intelligence into a unified research ecosystem.
Our long-term vision is to explore a future where human medical wisdom and machine intelligence co-evolve—supporting clinical reasoning, medical education, knowledge discovery, and personalized healthcare research while preserving safety, interpretability, and human oversight.

We develop specialized language models that understand the conceptual structure of Chinese medicine, including:
